EXPERIMENT 3 (Under preparation).

As the negative result of experiment 2 may be due to the high frequency used (1 GHz), the frequency has been reduced to 5 Mhz and the outputs of the cables at 5MHz control two PLLs with outputs at 1 Ghz which enter the double balanced mixer.

In this case, there is slight addition of noise in the DC output (PLL instabilities) but no loss of phase sensitivity.
